What should I know about delivering cakes around Edinburgh?
Old Town deliveries are the hard ones: cobbles, steep closes, and stairs with no lift at the end of them. Ask how far the cake has to be carried from where you can legally stop, and quote accordingly. Through August, add real time to every journey. The festival makes a fifteen minute drive across the city centre unrecognisable.
